Description
Enjoy a day of carefree fun on the water in this 2005 Searay 34 Sundancer cruiser. The quoted price of $1,200 includes captain, fuel for light cruising, and 5 hours of fun on the Potomac River. A 3-hour tour is priced at $800. Note that the quoted price for holiday weekends (including Memorial Day Weekend, July 4, and Labor Day Weekend) is higher to match demand. The price for a 5-hour charter on July 4 is $3,000.
FAQ's:
1 - Standard location for pick up and drop off is at the Georgetown waterfront.
2 - With the exception of red wine, you may bring any (legal) drink and food that you desire for the outings. Red wine stains are too tough to clean.
3 - Given the time that it takes to cruise up/down the river, we limit cruising area to points north of the DCA (National) airport. The preferred point of embarkation / disembarkation is Georgetown.
4 - The boat is equipped with an aux input cable to connect your music (iPhone, iPod, etc.) and a good speaker system throughout.
5 - We will provide ice and cups for your outing. We also have a refrigerator and coolers on board for your use.
6 - Boat Rules: No smoking; no red wine allowed; no high heels while on the boat; no over-drinking (safety while on the river is my primary focus).
Bitten By The Boat Bug!
When my husband, Scott, and I were vacationing in St. John a few years ago, we were fascinated by all the lovely private boats cruising in and out of the harbor. My husband was especially intrigued, and started dropping not-so subtle hints about us owning our own boat. I admit, I was skeptical at first since neither of us had much personal experience with boats.
We decided to try out this new hobby by joining a boat club in DC so we could “get our feet wet” in the world of boating. Well, it didn’t take long before both of us were hooked! We knew boating was a hobby that we definitely wanted to continue pursuing, so we decided to take the plunge by purchasing out very own private boat. We’ve never looked back! Since then, we’ve been having a blast with our boat. We’ve taken vacations and day trips (with and without the kids!), hosted parties for our friends, and enjoyed simply relaxing and taking in the atmosphere.
Scott and I have had so many wonderful memories on our boat, that we decided that we should help others create lifelong memories of their own! So, we decided to put together cruising packages just for you! We’re sure that you’re going to enjoy our boat as much as we do!
